How do Simoney Badges PRICES compare to others?
Although many of our competitors do not, we publish our prices with pride, as we are sure we offer the best deal. If you dont agree, please let us know and we will try to better any competitive price out there.

There are no origination charges, film charges or set up charges with any of our products. We offer a free design service.
We do however reserve the right to quote on unusual requests where extra cost might be incurred by ourselves and these costs would need to be passed on. We would inform before and quote before any charges were passed on.
The delivery on all products except Name Badges is calculated on the weight of the order. The best way to work out the cost of deliveries is to fill out the order form on this site and the cost of delivery is given in the shopping cart. This can be done with no obligation to place the order. If a Special Delivery or signed for service is required, please request this and we will provide a quote.
How long does it take to dispatch badges, lanyards or stickers once ordered?
Name badges usually dispatched the same day as received.
Button badges usually dispatched the same day as received.
Enamel badges 3-4 weeks
Express Enamel badges - usually dispatched the same day as received.
Bespoke lanyards 2-3 weeks
Stock lanyards usually dispatched the same day as received.
Acetates & PVC Wallets - usually dispatched the same day as received.
Stickers usually dispatched within 2-3 days
How would you want the badge, lanyard or sticker artwork supplied?
We would ideally like an Illustrator AI or EPS for a PC, a Corel Draw file or a PDF Alternatively a print quality JPEG or a Tiff at a minimum of 300 dots per inch. Your printer or graphic designer will have these files. You may even have other logo files on your computer that you can not open that I may be able to use.
Can you help design the artwork for us?
Yes we can! If you have some instructions or a design brief we will be happy to provide you with a design service and no-obligation proof to review.
Do you supply a digital proof before producing the badges, lanyards or stickers?
If you are a new client or an existing client with a change to previously approved artwork or product details a PDF proof will be provided for approval before we process your order. Orders will not be processed until written confirmation is received by email or post. We can not accept verbal orders on any of our badges, lanyards, sticker or other products.
What are your payment terms?
We ask for payment prior to production with all first time orders immaterial of the product or invoice value. We then give a certain amount of credit on subsequent name badge, sticker or lanyard orders.
No credit is ever given on promotional items or novelty badges. Following this policy enables us to offer very competitive prices and ensures we stay in business where others fail.
What is your returns policy?
We are very fair and if goods have been received that you are not happy with then we will usually replace them immediately free of charge, provided that they are returned unused. If a bespoke sample has been provided first and approved then we would not offer a replacement.
We do not generally replace badges that are damaged due to general wear and tear or age as name badges will naturally wear with time and use.
If an Executive Name Badge, Plastic Personalised Name Badge or a Reusable Name Badge is returned with a broken fixing then we will always replace it free of charge.
What is a Call Of?
We offer a Call-Off service, on our executive and plastic range of badges, whereby you can purchase a quantity of extra badges to be held in stock. We charge 50 pence extra for each badge to be Called Off to cover post and packing costs. This enables you to Call Off even a single badge that has been purchased at a unit cost priced in a larger quantity price bracket. Badges can then be called off until the quota is used up with no further invoices being sent. Payment is required in full prior to dispatch.
What are Button Badges made of?
We digitally print onto paper and then the badge components are made of metal and plastic.
What are Enamel Badge made of?

What are Executive Name Badges made of?
Simoney Badges Executive Name Badges are made with stainless steel backs and aluminum fronts to create a hardwearing, rust resistant badge. The badge fronts are printed onto polyester that is sealed with a protective laminate. Badge faces are digitally printed and are available in brushed gold or silver, white or any other colour when you provide a Pantone reference number.
What are Plastic Name Badges made of?
Simoney Badges Plastic Personalised Name Badges bases are made of ABS Plastic. Please refer to Wikipedia for a more detailed description of ABS Plastic; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABS_plastic. The badge fronts are printed onto polyester that is sealed with a protective laminate. Badge faces are digitally printed and are available in brushed gold or silver, white or any other colour when you provide a Pantone reference number.
What are Reusable Name Badges made of?
Simoney Badges Reusable Name Badges bases are made from two pieces of injection moulded plastic that are firmly secured together. The backing is ABS Plastic, please refer to Wikipedia for a more detailed description of what ABS Plastic is; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABS_plastic. The front of the badge is made of Polycarbonate. We use Polycarbonate as it is a hard wearing and durable material (crash helmets are often made from this plastic). Please refer to Wikipedia for a more detailed description of Polycarbonate; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycarbonate. The badge fronts are printed onto polyester that is sealed with a protective laminate. Badge faces are digitally printed and are available in brushed gold or silver, white or any other colour when you provide a Pantone reference number.
What are Stickers made of?
Simoney Badges make stickers from polyester plastic, vinyl or paper depending upon the particular requirements.
How do you print the name badges?
We digitally print 4 colour process, all logos, text and face colours of the badges. We can print any face colour if a pantone colour reference is provided.
Do you dome your name badges for protection?
We certainly do. Doming involves putting an epoxy resin over the front of the badges in order to add an extra protection to the face of the badges. The clear "bubble" really looks fantastic.
How are your products made?
We have some unique machines and production processes, so we keep our production processes a closely guarded secret.
What fixings or attachments are available?

How long have you been in business?
We have been in the badge and promotional business for nearly 25 years and our combined management experience exceeds this many times.

Are your badge and lanyard products suitable for young children?
Our badges and lanyards are not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Of course it's always sensible to teach young children safety when dealing with products like badges or lanyards.
