Erica Enamel here, I’m ready to go find a bunch of Aussies! It’s Hug an Australian Day. So go ahead and give a big bear hug to any and all Australians today.
So how about a little Aussie humor today?
“He had a head on him like a sucked mango.”
I am off to the flower show this week. Can’t wait to tiptoe through the tulips…lol.
The Harrogate Flower Shows run from 26th – 29th of April. Its the perfect opportunity to find inspiration for your garden, or to just enjoy everyone else’s flowers!
Wearing my name badge often gets me extra samples and cuttings! I look so official…

Erica Enamel here. Today is International Children’s Book Day. The point of this day is to encourage reading, and promote children’s love of books.
Come on, how many of you still know the opening lines to a favorite book from your childhood years?
“Each peach, pear, plum…I spy Tom Thumb…”
Read a book to a child today!
Erica Enamel here. With the 2012 Olympics coming to London in July, you know that pin and badge collecting is going to become a hot topic. And you know that with demand, comes the fakes and ripoffs. If you plan to collect pins or badges for these events, I’ve found a website that may help you identify the official from the knock offs.
It can be found here: http://londonpins.co.uk/fakes.html
Erica Enamel here. Found something interesting…audible name tags or ANTS. They help you communicate the proper pronunciation of your name by embedding your Audible Name Tag (ANT) into email signatures, websites, digital documents & social media profiles. Very helpful if you communicate across countries or cultures, or your parents named you Teacharlmiska. (Real name, pronounced: T-shar-mis-ka)
Erica Enamel here…what a great time to take care of all the little things. And cleaning enamel badges and pins takes very little time. Just remember the following:
Made sure it is really an enamel badge and not something that has been painted on or these cleaning techniques will take off the paint.
* Use a soft cloth.
* You can use a little amonia on enamel to take off dirt and grim.
* A little silver polish can be used, or a little toothpaste to remove stubborn dirt.
* Make sure to clean the polish or toothpaste off.
See, so easy to care for those enamel badges!
