Unique Lanyard Uses – 11

Monday, May 7th, 2012

This one has to do with using a lanyard with kids, helping them keep track of keys, notes, lunch money or trip money…and all that stuff that they have. Consider little pouches or wallets that can be used at the end of a lanyard, and make sure the lanyard isn’t hitting the kid around the knees, it should end at their chest…

Lanyards aren’t for small children, but should be fine for those that are school aged.

Use the lanyard when you are camping or hiking to hang washed vessels and tools from trees to help them dry. It is also great for securing a bottle of wine in the cold water of a river or lake.

Another great idea is to use a lanyard for hanging baskets and growing pots. If you have one that swivels they work great for turning the plant to the sun and for watering.

This might be stretching it a bit. But have you ever had to do any painting in your own home? One great use for a lanyard is to attach a paint rag to the end. Be certain that the lanyard has a clip style attachment and you are ready. This simple step may save countless hours going back to do touch-ups. Right at your fingertips, you have an emergency cloth, for those little drips and slips. It does not matter how good a painter you are, they do happen.

For that family reunion or big party you’ve got planned. Custom lanyards make great keepsakes for any occasion. Especially if you include the event or family name, year, and location to ensure that all attendees hold onto their lanyards (and memories) for many years to come. Its a great place for them to hold onto hotel keys, tickets, or their ID as they go down the water slide!

Just a thought,
Larry – who really likes water slides.

And a third one for you this month, I’m on a roll!

Lanyards are useful if you participate in any type of sport. For instance for Skiers and snowboarders, lanyards are an easy way to keep track of ski or lift passes. They are durable and they don’t rust. They also won’t be cluttering up your coat or ski gear.
