Use the lanyard when you are camping or hiking to hang washed vessels and tools from trees to help them dry. It is also great for securing a bottle of wine in the cold water of a river or lake.

Ed Secutive here! I’ll take this one…Today is Rubber Eraser Day, which celebrates the invention of erasers. We all make mistakes. This day is designated to recognize and appreciate the value of that little plug (as manufacturers call them) that sits atop our pencils.
To err is human, an eraser is divine!
Larry Lanyard her to tell you that the International Moment of Laughter Day is intended to put a big smile on your face. The objective of this day is to get people to laugh, and to laugh more often. After all, “laughter is the best medicine”.
So who’s got a good joke?
Another great idea is to use a lanyard for hanging baskets and growing pots. If you have one that swivels they work great for turning the plant to the sun and for watering.

Pam Plastic here, today is world health day. The theme for 2012 is “Ageing and Health.” I don’t know about you, but that certainly is ringing bells with me this year.
Although, if I had to create a button for this event it would be something like:
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?
Hi, all! I will be spending the Easter weekend in Nantwich. This is always a big weekend as musicians and tourists from around the world descend on the small town to enjoy the Jazz, Blues and Music Festival or “The Nantwich Jazz”. It goes the 5th – 9th of April.
I’m wearing my name tag and seeing how many new friends I can make!

Erica Enamel here. Today is International Children’s Book Day. The point of this day is to encourage reading, and promote children’s love of books.
Come on, how many of you still know the opening lines to a favorite book from your childhood years?
“Each peach, pear, plum…I spy Tom Thumb…”
Read a book to a child today!
“wow what great service from such a happy crew!”
